Up-Island Pottery, created in Chilmark, is wheel thrown. Each piece is individually made. The glazes are all original glazes developed by me. Up-Island Pottery is known for its colorful glazes and some whimsical floral designs. In recent years I have introduced a more neutral tone on a dark brown raw clay. Dinnerware sets, serving bowls, mugs and vases are all available plus specialty items such as butter dishes, honey pots and spoon rests.
