Kate Kellogg
I am a painter and textile designer, creating functional art for the home in partnership with traditional block printers in India. Each of the textile products I offer, originates from my personal drawings and paintings. In 2017-18 I lived in India and had the opportunity to immerse myself in the ancient art of wood block printing during an artist’s residency. I currently worked to create original designs in my studio and make annual trips to Sangener, India to work hands-on with the artisans who now carve my designs into blocks and print my final products. Each product is hand-made from start to finish, beautifully merging my original art with the skills of traditional artisans practising the ancient art of hand block
