Ocean’s Own Design
Born on Martha’s Vineyard, I’ve been an avid beachcomber since childhood. I made my first quahog and sea glass bracelet at five years old with my mother from shells on Vineyard Haven Beach. That started a long life of making jewelry and art with seashells, sea glass, and colorful beads. The purple and white stripes on the quahog are magical to me. I have been hand-carving the quahog shell for 37 years and doing shows on Martha’s Vineyard for 27 years. It has brought me great joy, and I love what I do.
