Coco Paniora Salinas
RUMI SUMAQ means ‘beautiful stones’ in Quechua, the indigenous language of Peru. From his art jewelry studio on Martha’s Vineyard, Peruvian-born designer Coco Paniora Salinas handcrafts heirloom-quality jewelry that bridges his Quechua heritage with the maritime beauty of his island home. Using intricate macramé and metalwork, he transforms exquisite stones, shells, fossils, and other natural elements into wearable art—each piece a tribute to tradition, innovation, and the raw beauty of the earth.
